Finding our way to The Way one situation at a time. I don't know how great it will be, but I expect it will be interesting, and I look forward to it going on past all reason because wonder is just that way. Are you coming or not?

Grace is the foundation of the universe.
Grace is the Tao in action.
Grace is Transcendent beauty/wonder
coming to life in our lives.
Grace is another term for Synchronicity,
for the spontaneous--
of-the-moment--arising
of need meeting need met.
What we need,
when we need it,
where and how
we need it to be.
Arising of its own volition,
its innate will-to-be here/now,
because that is how Grace is.
Blessing us all with its glory--
for no reason beyond
that's what Grace is,
that's what Grace does.
The other term for Grace is Luck.
Pure, juicy, Luck-in-the-moment.
Who is in charge of dispensing Luck?
It is entirely of itself!
Rising to the occasion
as blessing and Grace,
occasion after occasion,
from the beginning to here/now.
We cannot count on it,
and we cannot dismiss the possibility
of it,
ever,
at any time.
That is the very nature of Grace,
Synchronicity,
and the very best of Luck ever.
Amen!
It is certainly--
and forever--
so!
I'm retired, and still finding my way--but now, I don't have to pretend that I know what I'm doing.
I retired after 40.5 years as a minister in the Presbyterian Church USA, serving churches in Louisiana, Mississippi and North Carolina. I graduated from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, in Austin, Texas, and Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. My wife, Judy, and I have three daughters and five granddaughters within about twenty minutes from where we live--and are enjoying our retirement as much as we have ever enjoyed anything.
