We live out our lives, maintaining our relationships, and rising to meet the occasion as best we can, doing what needs to be done, when, where and how it needs to be done, enjoying what is to be enjoyed, grieving what must be grieved, "sunrise, sunset," day by day, and letting that be that. Few can improve on this for a life plan. Get up and meet the day with as much kindness, grace and generosity as we can muster. Aligned with the flow until circumstances call for swimming against the flow, and then do that. We are designed to come up with the right response to what is happening here/now. We can trust ourselves to that, living out of the center, true to our original nature and our innate virtues (the things we do best). Nothing can happen that emptiness, stillness and silence can't find a way of dealing with. It is the way of being human through all times and places for as long as life shall last. And then we transition to the light, back where it all started, and start up again. To the journey! Always and forever! May it be so!

“As much kindness, grace, and generosity as we can muster:” what a fine formulation for St. Valentine’s day!
