That Which Has Always Been Called God
is more akin to the flow of time and life
than a being eternal in the heavens.

All things have a flow about them,
and participate in the flow of time and life
that carries them along from birth to death.

There is movement to life and being.
There is no steady state,
rigid and unchanging,
enlightenment,
perfection.

It is enlightenment,
perfection,
to realize this,
and let it be
because it is.

It is all in flux--in flow.

The seasons,
the tides,
the circadian rhythms
that keep pace and time
and know what time it is
and what it is time for...

And all of this is built
into the nature of how things are.
When we are at one with our nature--
with the nature of how we are--
aligned with what is right for us
and is right that we do here/now,
we are balanced
and in harmony with the AUMMmmm of being,
of life.
The "sweet spot" of the universe.
"At one with all things."

We find our way there
simply by "being here/now."
At one with ourselves here/now
is at one with everything,
in the flow with everything.

Not striving,
not contriving,
just being content to be
here/now.

This is what those who know, know.
And practice.
Simply by being here/now.

I'm retired, and still finding my way--but now, I don't have to pretend that I know what I'm doing. I retired after 40.5 years as a minister in the Presbyterian Church USA, serving churches in Louisiana, Mississippi and North Carolina. I graduated from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, in Austin, Texas, and Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. My wife, Judy, and I have three daughters and five granddaughters within about twenty minutes from where we live--and are enjoying our retirement as much as we have ever enjoyed anything.
