Hitler had the Jews, Trump has the immigrants. Somebody to hate and fear. Getting rid of of the immigrants will MAGA!
And putting a stop to all of the people draining our money with Entitlement Programs! Like Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security (Yes, Social Security is an Entitlement Program, though we contributed to SS with monthly allotments throughout our working lives--and Major Tax Cuts to the Wealthy is not an Entitlement Program! Who gets to say what's what here? Why, the President of course!) will increase the wellbeing of all those who deserve it for long years into the far distant future!
Empty promises, steady lies, capsule the Trump administration from the start, with no end in sight. With Congress and the Supreme Court doing his bidding, there is literally no end in sight, and a Forever Reign is as likely as the sun coming up in the morning.
With Elan Musk appearing to be the unlikeliest challenge to the Trump Extravaganza, everyone is left wondering what will happen next. No?
I'm retired, and still finding my way--but now, I don't have to pretend that I know what I'm doing.
I retired after 40.5 years as a minister in the Presbyterian Church USA, serving churches in Louisiana, Mississippi and North Carolina. I graduated from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, in Austin, Texas, and Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. My wife, Judy, and I have three daughters, five granddaughters, one great granddaughter, and a great grandson on the way, within about ten minutes from where we live--and are enjoying our retirement as much as we have ever enjoyed anything.
