The balance point between extremes
is the place to be at all times,
in all places.

Caring/not-caring.
Wanting/not-wanting.
Good/bad.
Right/wrong.
Loving/not-loving.
Knowing/not-knowing.
Seeing/not-seeing.

At the tipping point,
we can go anywhere,
do anything,
especially the things
that are called for,
the things that are asked of us,
required of us,
in all times and places
along the way.

In moments of doubt,
go with what has urgency,
with what is calling us,
with where our interest lies.

Interest never lies.
Intuition never betrays us,
but remains forever true
and reliable throughout our days.

Cultivate your relationship
with your intuition,
and go where'er she leads.
No matter what.

If you can find better advise,
take it!

I'm retired, and still finding my way--but now, I don't have to pretend that I know what I'm doing. I retired after 40.5 years as a minister in the Presbyterian Church USA, serving churches in Louisiana, Mississippi and North Carolina. I graduated from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, in Austin, Texas, and Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. My wife, Judy, and I have three daughters, five granddaughters, one great granddaughter, and a great grandson on the way, within about ten minutes from where we live--and are enjoying our retirement as much as we have ever enjoyed anything.
